New Beginnings

You can download the game, here.

Well. Instead of wasting my time finding a place to put stuff, I decided to steal Man of Doom's idea and make a blog about it.

The Game
I'm sure most of you have heard of "Lemmings," and the sequels and clones it has created. In 1998 one Peter Spada created a clone that directly correlated with the original series. Aptly named "Cheapo Lemmings," the game is basically a rip of the old engine and updated for use with Windows. The game even works well with Windows 7.

Unfortunately, the game came with only the demo levels of Lemmings 1 and a few test levels.

The Editor
Bar the obvious advantages of having a working Lemmings game on Windows (especially 7), the game came with its own extremely powerful and customisable Editor. Choosing from the styles of Lemmings 1, Oh No! More Lemmings, Lemmings 2: Tribes and custom styles made by fans, it boosts easy creating, editing and placing of scenery, objects and death traps. With the amount of skills, stats, intro text and size to make easily customisable levels to share. You can even place levels you created in a "Set." These sets are groups of levels you wish to be played one after the other - although one drawback is that there isn't an option to disable levels to be play before the previous has been completed.

This Blog
I'm going to be posting news, information and my own sets and levels. Check back (or subscribe) from time to time to see levels and sets as they progress.
